Beattie, the integrated communications agency, has appointed a managing director for Ontario, Canada.

Sue Holland, who was a Senior Marketing Supervisor for the City of Toronto’s Economic Development and Culture division, will head up the Beattie Tartan and Only Marketing teams in Ontario, based in Toronto.

Known for steering recent high-profile City projects such as the 3D Toronto Sign at Nathan Phillips Square, and the “TO Canada with Love” Canada 150 brand, Sue has lead numerous marketing campaigns and projects that engaged the public, drove participation for EDC events such as Nuit Blanche Toronto and Summerlicious, and helped generate significant profile for thriving Toronto business sectors such as Tech and Film.

She said: “Having been with the City for eight years, I am excited by the opportunity to apply my extensive local knowledge in the private sector, and to help facilitate meaningful relationships between brands and their customers. Our ambitious, talented and growing team will make Beattie Tartan and Only Marketing a major player in the country.”
